“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” –Matthew 11: 28-30 (MSG)
As a certified spiritual director with a master’s degree in spiritual formation and leadership, Nicole longs to help others live freely, lightly, and fully into the promise of God’s love and presence. Nicole has a passion for helping people overcome the barriers that can stand in the way of a flourishing, life-changing relationship with the Lord.
She has overcome the effects of an abusive upbringing and understands that our wounds, however incurred, impact how we make sense of God and His activity in our lives. Through Cedar Tree, Nicole offers a safe place to share your story, ask spiritual questions, and abide in Jesus’ healing presence. Within the spiritual direction relationship, you will grow in becoming attuned to the Holy Spirit in order to listen and respond to God’s direction and healing presence in the midst of life’s circumstances.
Nicole is delighted to share her life with her two precious boys. She loves connecting with God through His Word, creation, life stories, and worship. For the past 15 years, she has been active in discipleship ministries, discipling relationships, and in the Spiritual Formation community at her local church.
