Spiritual growth with Nicole is life-changing. I was in the midst of desolation and despair, and seeking God in every aspect of my life was the only way to overcome the devastation. Under Nicole’s direction, I have discovered Christ and His goodness through reflection, the Holy Spirit’s presence, and my prayer life. The work she does to bring you closer to God is truly invaluable.

 

Nicole is a patient, intuitive group leader who listens well and interacts authentically with those under her care. She is gifted at helping get to the heart of those issues with which we all struggle, and lovingly persistent in pointing back to Jesus, the source of our healing.

I’m so thankful for a year with Nicole McClurg as my Spiritual Director. As a leader in ministry, I was hungry for time where another person might invest in me.  It was important for my soul to have a thoughtful, objective, Christ-Centered listener. Meeting with Nicole each month gave me fresh accountability and connection with the Lord. Nicole was prayerful and sensitive to the Spirit, encouraging in her words to me, and intentional about the questions she asks. God used this time to weave important truths into my life. I recognized his stirring after each appointment and was grateful for his timely revelations. Nicole’s desire to create space for others to encounter Jesus was such a gift to me. This movement of God to raise up Spiritual Directors to listen and love others will bless the body of Christ. I affirm Nicole’s calling to use her skills, training and gifts this way. She is blessed to be a blessing!

I have had the privilege of being invested in by Nicole for the last two years.  She is kind, compassionate, filled with the Spirit of God and empathetic.  I don’t know of a better listener.  She has the ability to cut through the haze of my inconsistency and gently point me towards God’s best.  You cannot find a better spiritual director.

I have been meeting with Nicole for Spiritual Direction for several months now.  From day one, it was evident that the Lord was going to use Nicole’s guidance to nurture a closer walk with Him.  Nicole’s gentleness, compassion, and tangible love creates a space where I feel invited to share my heart on a deeper level.  The way she listens to me, as well as her sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading, has opened up clarity and confirmation over life issues that would have been left unresolved.  While I have enjoyed personal quiet time with the Lord for several years, my time with Nicole has deepened that communication and opened up new ways of seeing God’s hand in my everyday life.
